The Snowdonia Trail Marathon Eryri is a trail running event held in Llanberis, Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park on 11 and 12 July 2026. The event includes a 10k, half marathon, marathon and ultra marathon. Routes start and finish in Llanberis and explore trails, panoramic views and climbs around locations such as Rhyd Ddu, Beddgelert, Nant Gwynant, Pen y Pass and Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon). The marathon and ultra marathon are ITRA and UTMB-indexed. The event is bilingual; signs, registration and commentary are available in English and Welsh.

On-course and event features

The event village includes music, commentary, shopping, food, kit demonstrations and toilets. On-course support includes marshals, signage, energy stations and support vehicles. Chip timing and live online results are provided. Finishers receive themed mementos. A children’s fun run, the Jones o Gymru Dolbadarn Dash, is a 500 m run on the event field with a suggested on-the-day donation of £3; proceeds support the Llanberis Mountain Rescue Team.
