The Snowdonia Trail Marathon Eryri is a multi-distance trail running event based in Llanberis, Wales. The routes traverse the landscape of Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park, featuring climbs and trails through locations such as Rhyd Ddu, Beddgelert, Nant Gwynant, Pen y Pass, and Yr Wyddfa.
Participants can choose from four distinct distances:
- 10k: A 9.8 km route.
- Half Marathon: A course covering 12.9 miles.
- Marathon: A 27.3 mile distance.
- Ultra Marathon: A 57 km course.
The Marathon and Ultra Marathon distances are ITRA and UTMB-indexed races. The event also includes the Dragons' Dash, a 500m fun run for children held on the event field, which supports the Llanberis Mountain Rescue Team.
The event features a central village in Llanberis providing music, food, and shopping. Support for runners includes professional chip timing with live results, marked courses, and hydration stations.
