The Snowdonia Trail Marathon Eryri is a multi-distance trail running event based in Llanberis, Wales. The routes traverse the landscape of Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park, featuring climbs and trails through locations such as Rhyd Ddu, Beddgelert, Nant Gwynant, Pen y Pass, and Yr Wyddfa.

Participants can choose from four distinct distances:

  • 10k: A 9.8 km route.
  • Half Marathon: A course covering 12.9 miles.
  • Marathon: A 27.3 mile distance.
  • Ultra Marathon: A 57 km course.

The Marathon and Ultra Marathon distances are ITRA and UTMB-indexed races. The event also includes the Dragons' Dash, a 500m fun run for children held on the event field, which supports the Llanberis Mountain Rescue Team.

The event features a central village in Llanberis providing music, food, and shopping. Support for runners includes professional chip timing with live results, marked courses, and hydration stations. An 8.6 mile multi terrain race around Trawsfynydd lake in Snowdonia, chip timed and limited to 400 runners. Proceeds support the volunteer South Snowdonia Search and Rescue team; open to athletes aged 17 and over.

Experience an epic guided traverse of the fifteen 3000 foot peaks in Snowdonia. This 48 km mountain run includes 4000 meters of elevation gain across three iconic ranges with full support and logistics provided.

A guided recce of the Paddy Buckley leg from Capel Curig to Nantmor across the Moelwyns, covering 35 km with 2,500 m of ascent on 3 May 2026. Small groups led by Mountain Leader qualified guides; entry fee £95 and minimum age 18.

A 115 km multi-discipline race from Abersoch Beach to Snowdon summit and back, combining a sea swim, road cycling and a mountain ascent via The Watkin Path. The 2026 event reached a 400-person capacity and is currently sold out.
