Snowdon24 (Yr Wyddfa)

Snowdon24 is a 24 hour ultra trail endurance challenge based at the foot of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) in Llanberis, Eryri (Snowdonia). Yr Wyddfa reaches 1,085 m (3,560 feet). The format asks participants to ascend and descend the mountain as many times as possible within a 24 hour period. The event is UTMB indexed and lists individual challenges that include 50k, 100k, and a 100 mile option. Entries are available for solo runners and for pairs or teams of up to five in a relay format. The event date is 11 July 2026. The course record noted on the event page is eight laps.

The event village provides toilets, food, shopping, music and daylight commentary. Rest areas include tent pitches and a chill out zone. On-course support includes marshals, signage and Mountain Leader assistance. Timing and results use chip timing, tracking and online results. All participants receive a finisher memento reflecting the event location. The event is bilingual, with signs, registration and commentary available in English and Welsh. Cancer Research Wales is the official charity partner; fundraising is welcomed, there is no minimum amount for general fundraisers, and those who raise more than £50 receive a complimentary shirt from the charity.
