- 57 miles - Stage 4
- 30 miles - Stage 5
Format, logistics and rules
Competitors stay in booked accommodation at designated hotels after each day; rooms are shared by default. A support vehicle transfers one cabin-sized kit bag per competitor between hotels. Check-point food offers vegan and gluten-free options if selected at entry; competitors with other dietary needs must supply labelled food bags for checkpoints. Events are cup-free so competitors must bring a reusable cup.
Mandatory kit includes a backpack, head torch with spare batteries, OS Map 150 or downloadable maps, compass or GPS, whistle, mobile phone, emergency food, and a basic first aid kit. Entrants must be at least 20 years old on the start day. The organisers require a minimum average speed of 4.0 miles per hour including stops; competitors falling below this may be withdrawn. Entry fees are listed as Solo £795 and a combined "Double" option £1,250. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
