TWIN PEAKS & RAS CONSTI
The event is based at the Bandstand on Aberystwyth Promenade. Both races start and finish on the promenade near the bandstand and use a mix of surfaces including promenade, pavement, tarmac, gravel, rocky paths, grass and mud. The senior route heads south and circles the harbour before climbing Pen Dinas and later Constitution Hill. The climb on Pen Dinas begins on a gravel track and finishes on a rocky ascent to a hillfort and monument, followed by a descent that can be slippery. The Consti climb follows a rocky path that crosses the cliff railway and joins a tarmac road for the final descent back to the promenade.
