Twin Peaks & Ras Consti, Aberystwyth
The event takes place on Sunday 11 October 2026 with Race HQ at the Bandstand on Aberystwyth Promenade. Both races start and finish on the promenade and use a variety of surfaces including promenade, gravel track, rocky paths, grass, mud and tarmac.
Distances:
- Senior race: 11.7 km, 237 m climb (age 16 and over)
- Junior (11 and under): 1.77 km (partial climb of Consti)
- Secondary (12 and over): 2.57 km (full climb of Consti)
The senior route heads south, circles the harbour, climbs Pen Dinas via a gravel track and rocky final ascent to a hillfort and monument, then descends on grass, mud and stony paths before returning to the promenade and ascending Constitution Hill on a rocky path that crosses the cliff railway, finishing with a tarmac descent to the prom.
Registration and race administration operate from the Bandstand on race day, with separate registration windows for junior and senior entrants. There is on-street parking and nearby car parks. Toilets are available at the Bandstand and public toilets nearby (30p).
Safety and logistics: headphones are not permitted except bone conducting types; informal bag storage is provided at the Race HQ at owners risk; St John Ambulance will provide first aid and marshals will be positioned around the course. Water is provided near halfway for the senior race and at the start and finish for all races. Prizes are awarded by age categories and team criteria, and results are published after the event.
