A summer trail run on the eastern edge of the Peak District, the Cordwell Colossus covers just over 20 miles through the Cordwell and Linacre Valleys with two staffed checkpoints, GPX route files and a six hour time limit.

A short fell race from Arncliffe Village Green featuring a steep climb to a cairn and a mixed descent. The event counts for the BOFRA Championship and runs alongside a separate four mile road race.

An 8 hour looped running event at Temple Newsam Park in Leeds where participants run as many 5 km laps as they can. Mixed terrain, a single aid station, bag drop and lap based timing record distance and elapsed time.

Trail races at Farndale on 9 August 2026 offer three untaped courses from 8.3 to 29 miles. Competitors must navigate with printed maps, carry mandatory safety kit and use provided parking and overnight camper facilities.

A BS Fell Race near Uppermill in the Peak District, covering 10 km with 400 m of ascent. The course is fully flagged and marshalled, entry is via SiEntries, and the entry fee includes a chip butty at the finish.

The Boulsworth Fell Race will take place in Wycoller on Sunday 9 August 2026.

Historic fell race in Buxworth on 12 August 2026. A short 3.4 mile (5.5 km) course with 275 m of climb, organised by Goyt Valley Striders; entries carry a fee and the event often sells out.

Take on the classic Whittle Pike fell race in the South West Pennines on Wed 12 Aug 2026, roughly 5.5 miles with 550 m of climb from Cowpe Village Hall. Entry on the day is available for £5, teams welcome and runners must be 16 or over.

A local Darley Dale race organised by Matlock Athletic Club, featuring a short approach from the cricket club, marshalled route and a hill near the finish with views over the Derwent Valley; post-race facilities and prize giving at the cric..

A challenging fell race in the Peak District featuring 370m of climb over a 6km course. Entry is on the day at Cartworth Moor Cricket Club near Holmfirth. The route is well marked and marshalled for a classic short fell running experience.

Relaunch of the Flagg Moor Run on 14 August 2026, a 5.5 miles fell race around Flagg in the Peak District. Entry is via SiEntries with an advance fee of £7 and a minimum age of 16.

A towpath trail event in Saltaire offering distances from 5k to ultra, regular feed stations and a bespoke finisher medal; toilets and nearby train access are available.

Ilkley Skyline is a fell running event around the moors of Ilkley offered in two distances. The route starts and finishes at The Hermit Inn and features unmarked navigation plus aid stations at Addingham and Timble.

A 10k circular route around Piethorne and Ogden reservoirs on bridleways, including an out and back to Hollingworth Lake, with varied terrain and 275 m of ascent. Entries open 6 May and close 13 August 2026.

A fell race in Crowden on 16 August 2026 following the Pennine Way to Black Hill and Soldiers Lump. Online and on-the-day entry options are available, minimum age 18, limited parking and a GPX route is provided.

Join Scarborough AC for an 8.6 mile fell race across the North York Moors, featuring 475 m of climbing and sweeping moorland views. Entry on the day makes this a great spontaneous stop in the Dave Parry Esk Valley summer series.

A trail half marathon around Roseberry Topping in the North York Moors on 16 August 2026. The route uses forest tracks and heather moorland, includes steep climbs, is limited to 50 entrants and awards a bespoke finisher medal.

Challenge yourself on the Pilgrims Cross Fell Race across the West Pennine Moors, a scenic but tough 10.7 km with 390 m of climb. Entry is on the day only with a small fee, and the race features in the Rossendale midweek series.

Bingley Rock up n Run is an evening pop-up with 5 km and 10 km options at 5 Rise Locks in Bingley. Runners can register on the night, pay on the day or online, and receive a medal, food and a sweetie bag.

A set of self-navigated trail races from Edale in the Peak District, offering Ultra, Marathon, Half Marathon and 10 mile courses across streams, rocky descents and muddy paths, with checkpoints, maps and finisher medals.
