January 2027

A circular trail race of about 17.5 miles from Robin Hoods Bay with 1700 ft ascent and an 8 hour limit. Checkpoints supply food and drink and a list of mandatory safety kit must be carried.

A winter trail event of about 30 miles on the Cleveland Way and Cinder Track from Robin Hood's Bay toward Scarborough, with roughly 3,400 ft of ascent, staffed checkpoints, mandatory winter safety kit and an 11-hour limit.

Trail races at Harewood House in Leeds run through over 1,000 acres of grounds with 5 km, 10 km and a half marathon distances; canicross is allowed and finishers receive a medal and merchandise.

February 2027

Test your endurance at the Wadsworth Trog fell race in the South and West Pennines. This 31 km event features over 1100 meters of climbing and requires navigation skills for participants traversing the Hebden Bridge landscape.

A winter trail race at Saltburn offering three mapped distances from 7.5 to 28 miles, mandatory safety kit and time limits for each course. Entries are limited and prizes are awarded across age categories.

A circular 14 mile trail half marathon across the Yorkshire Wolds on undulating, non technical terrain with GPX and marked junctions. Plantable wildflower medal, charity donations from entry fees, and a five hour overall cut off.

A trail half marathon on 21 February 2027 from Levisham Village Hall across North York Moors terrain and through the Hole of Horcum. The circa 13.1 mile route includes two checkpoints, a 5 hour limit, mandatory kit and limited places.

Trail runs at Fountains Abbey on 28 February 2027 include 5km, 10km and half marathon options with live chip timing and a three hour cut off. Routes pass through the Deer Park, Water Garden and the Abbey and the event is canicross friendly.

March 2027

Experience a classic 15 km fell race through the South West Pennines. Starting from Barley Village Hall, this event features 545 meters of ascent and requires navigation skills for all participants.

A moorland trail event around Saddleworth offering 26 km, 43 km and 62 km routes that visit reservoirs and rough moorland. Entry fees include refreshments, tracking, medical cover and a post event meal.

A long fell race of about 51 km across gritstone moors near Haworth, Todmorden and Hebden Bridge. The volunteer-run event requires full FRA kit, includes six feed stations, and donates proceeds to local charities.

Two Crosses Circuit is a challenge event organised by East Lancashire LDWA, next scheduled for 14 March 2027. It is listed as an LDWA challenge event and falls within the association's usual challenge event framework of 20 to 100 miles.
