Event overview

This is a guided trail running weekend in Horton in Ribblesdale, Yorkshire Dales, taking place 2-4 July 2027. Accommodation is in the local bunkroom on the route, in single-sex rooms with kitchen facilities and parking. The main outing on Saturday is the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge, a 24 mile (38.6 km) round trip with about 1585 m (5200 ft) total ascent. The route reaches the summits of Pen-y-Ghent (694 m), Whernside (736 m) and Ingleborough (723 m). The group will move at a steady, social pace, combining hiking on the hills with running on flats and descents; the event is not a race and participants stay together. On Sunday there is an optional steady 10 km loop with about 269 m (885 ft) elevation that follows part of the Pennine Way and visits Hull Pot.
