A community fundraiser at Slane Castle on 24 May 2026 featuring a 5 km route through the estate and a forest trail by the River Boyne. Early bird prices apply and on-site parking is available.

June 2026

A waymarked mountain race in County Wicklow featuring an 8.6 km main course with about 400 m ascent, a 5 km short course, steep upland climbs and a ridge descent. Mandatory Level B kit is required and GPS use is permitted.

A 5K trail race in Phoenix Park on 9 June 2026 featuring a fast two lap grass course, BHAA prizes, and member and non-member entry fees; numbers collected at the Civil Service Clubhouse.

A mountain trail race on Keadeen in County Wicklow, about 10 km with 385 m ascent. A short c. 4.2 km junior route is available and Level B mandatory kit is required.

A chip timed 5km run in Trim, Meath on 12 June 2026 along the River Boyne. Organised by Trim Athletic Club, open to runners aged 16 and over, with a technical shirt for the first 450 and prizes by gender and age.

Ballinastoe is a mountain running event in Ballinastoe Wood, Co. Wicklow, featuring an 11 km course with 504 m climb and a 4.7 km junior short course to the boardwalk. Route is fully marked and Level B kit is mandatory.

A two-race 4 mile series in Kildare featuring a Donadea Forest trail run on 18 June 2026 and a Clane road race on 28 August 2026. Both events welcome walkers and runners and include prizes for first men and women.

An 80 km mountain run around Glendalough Valley on St Kevin's Way, the Spink and the Wicklow Way. The continuous three loop course has about 3,000 m of climb and a 12 hour completion limit.

A mountain race from Flagstaff to Carlingford of about 16.7 km with roughly 1,000 m ascent. The unmarked route forbids GPS and requires mandatory Level C kit; a free coach transfer is available for the first 70 registered athletes.

The Flagstaff to Carlingford Mountain Race will take place in Liberties Of Carlingford on Sunday 21 June 2026. You can run between 10 and 17 kilometers.

Trail races around Ballygannon Woods and Clara Vale near Rathdrum with multiple route options from 200 m to 8 km. Registration at The Lakehouse, Splash Valley; basic mandatory kit is required.

July 2026

An out and back summit race in County Wicklow on 1 July 2026, the main course is about 9.45 km with 392 m climb and only major junctions marked. Level B kit is mandatory and GPS is permitted.

Trail event from Djouce Woods in County Wicklow offering a long 12.20 km route with 633 m climb and a junior 4.65 km course. Route fully marked, GPS allowed, Level B mandatory kit and limited parking.

A traditional up and down mountain race in County Wicklow on 11 July 2026 offering a 10.50 km route with 700 m climb and a 4.00 km short course; the route is unmarked and Level C mandatory kit must be carried.

An evening mountain running event in County Wicklow with fully marked routes of about 11.5 km, 5 km and a 2.2 km forest loop, mandatory Level B kit and limited parking with carpooling required.

Carnavaddy is a fully marked mountain running event in Ravensdale Forest with a long 10 km route and a short 5 km route, both including summit sections and woodland trails. Level B mandatory kit is required and GPS use is not permitted.

A 127 km ultra along the Wicklow Way from Marlay Park to Clonegal with 3,665 m ascent, a 21-hour limit and mandatory Level C kit. Drop bags, support-runner rules and five ITRA points for finishers apply.

Trail race in Glen of the Downs, Co. Wicklow with 8.15 km and 4.88 km routes on a fully marked course. Basic mandatory kit is required and post race refreshments and prize giving are held in the car park.
