Clane AC 4 Mile Series
Clane AC stages a two race series of four mile events in County Kildare in 2026. The series comprises a 4 Mile Trail Run in Donadea Forest on 18 June 2026 and a 4 Mile Road Race on 28 August 2026.
Both events are open to walkers and runners of all abilities. The Donadea Trail Run follows forest paths around the park and organisers recommend trail shoes; the route is not suitable for Vaporflys. An under 16s event takes place on a shorter trail ahead of the main trail race.
Prizes are awarded to the first finisher male and female overall, and there are separate first place prizes for male and female Clane AC members. The organiser describes the trail setting as passing away from the castle and onto the surrounding trails.
The events are presented as family friendly and include race options for adults and a shorter youth race. The series combines trail and road terrain over the same four mile distance, each held at different locations and dates in 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
