Mountain Meitheal Fundraiser

This is a mountain running event held in County Dublin at Pier Gates, Lough Tay, with parking at the start and finish location. The course is fully marked and GPS use is allowed. The race is primarily intended for runners who have completed the summer league by finishing at least seven of the thirteen races; league position determines handicap starts and non league finishers are started behind handicapped runners and are not eligible for prizes. Handicap times are published in the days before the event.

Mandatory kit is Level B Standard and must be carried as required. Required items listed are a waterproof jacket, hat or buff, gloves, whistle, charged mobile phone with an emergency number stored, and a foil blanket or bivvy bag. Failure to carry required kit may lead to denial of entry or disqualification, and random kit checks may be carried out. Prizegiving is at Kavanaghs Roundwood. A 127 km ultra along the Wicklow Way from Marlay Park to Clonegal with 3,665 m of ascent and a 21 hour limit. Entry requires pre approval and a mandatory Level C kit; GPS is permitted and only major junctions are marked.

Trail races at Glen of the Downs in County Wicklow include an 8.15 km route and a 4.88 km junior route, both fully marked. Mandatory basic kit includes a showerproof windproof jacket and parking is at the Outdoor Living car park.

A 10 km mountain run in County Wicklow with about 680 m ascent on an unmarked route visiting Art's Cross, Fair Mountain and White Hill. Part of the Leinster Championship, mandatory Level C kit is required and GPS is not allowed.

An uphill mountain race at Barravore, County Wicklow on 7 August 2026 with two route options and mandatory Level B kit. The event is part of the Irish Uphill League and capped at 50 entries.
