A 30 mile trail race along the Baden-Powell Centennial Trail between Horseshoe Bay and Deep Cove, featuring about 8,000 feet of climbing and a field chosen by random selection.

August 2026

The Elphinstone Ascent is a vertical kilometre on Mount Elphinstone near Gibsons on 1 August 2026. Limited to 60 runners, it includes a King and Queen of the Mountain classification and a GPX route is provided.

A multi-distance trail running event in Squamish BC on August 15 and 16 2026, featuring races from 23 km to 50 miles. The 2026 edition is sold out.

Two days of mountain trail running around Whistler Blackcomb, with four race distances, alpine views and lakes. The event takes place on the shared territory of the Lil’wat and Squamish Peoples.

September 2026

A 21 km mountain trail loop around Mt. Gardner in Snug Cove with chip timing, solo entries or relays for teams of three and three aid stations. The event raises funds for local Bowen Island trail and conservation organizations.

A mountain trail event on Blackcomb with a Peak to Peak gondola crossing, routes through meadows and alpine lakes, and multiple distances including kids runs and a non competitive hiking division.

A lap based trail running challenge at Smoke Bluffs Park in Squamish on September 5 2026, with 3HR solo and team options, a Coffee Run lap and a 1 km Little Lapper for kids.

A four-leg team trail relay in Port Coquitlam with marked exchange points, scheduled package pick up and on-course refreshment stations; the final runner collects finisher medals for the whole team.

A 25 km trail race through Garibaldi Provincial Park with 1080 m ascent and 1353 m descent. Limited to 100 runners, the event is self supported with mandatory kit lists, shuttle logistics and a start to finish bag transfer.

Trail event at Alice Lake in Squamish offering 42k, 21k, 11k and a short fun run with local and virtual options. Five dollars from each entry supports the CMHA STEPS program and all finishers receive a medal.

Ocean Athletics hosts the Festival of Cross Country on September 19 2026 at Crescent Park in South Surrey. Races cover categories from Seahorse to Masters and registration closes September 16 2026.

Trail races at Mount Seymour Provincial Park on forested routes around Goldie and Flower lakes. Distances range from 1 km kids races to a 14.1 km Grit and include a guided non-competitive hiking division.

A point to point trail near Whistler offering a 9 km runner route and a 7.5 km walking option from Cheakamus to Cal Cheak campground. Registration fees support the Engaruka boarding school in Tanzania.

October 2026

Whistler 50 in Whistler, BC, presented by BC Athletics, offers a solo 50 km (five 10 km loops) and 50-mile relays for teams of four or eight, with packet pickup, fundraising for Whistler Food Bank, and race-day support.

A point to point ultramarathon linking Mount Seymour, Grouse and Cypress in one continuous route. About 57 km with 3,500 m of elevation gain, held in North Vancouver on October 3, 2026.

A community trail run at Lost Lake in Whistler with measured 5 km and 10 km courses, charity fundraising, finish medals and post run snacks. Organized by SEA2SKY Events with bib pickup in Whistler Village and onsite.

Trail races on North Shore terrain with marathon, half marathon and 10 km starting and finishing at Inter River Park. Aid stations, finisher medals, podium awards and costume prizes are part of the event.
