About the race
Squamish 50 is a series of mountain trail races in Squamish, British Columbia. Race weekend is scheduled for August 14-15, 2027. Registration opens November 13. Volunteers receive advance registration opportunity for the next year.

- 50/50 - sold out at 200
Registration includes a total cash prize purse of $10,000 with specific payouts for the 50 mile top three (male and female: $2000 / $750 / $500) and $500 awards for top male and female in the 50/50, 50 km, and 23 km. Course record bonuses are offered ($1000 for new 50 mile records; $500 for new records in 50 km, 23 km, and 50/50). The event typically offers additional prizing and random-draw prizes.
Entries include race kit items and services such as a 25 L custom compression bag, race tees, chip timing, sponsor samples, fully stocked aid stations, finisher medals, limited edition caps for 50/50 finishers, custom wood awards for top three in each distance, post-race food and a beer garden, live broadcast coverage, and medical support. Ten dollars from each entry is donated to SORCA, and one tree is planted per entry with an Indigenous Lands Fraser Valley reforestation program. Travel and entry packages to specified international trail races are offered to overall winners in certain distances.
Key policies: full refunds require purchased third-party protection; a 50% refund is available if officially withdrawn by May 1; deferral rules vary by notice period and Squamish 50 entries cannot be deferred into the Squamish 50 itself.
