Whistler Turkey Trot

The Whistler Turkey Trot will take place on October 11, 2026, at Lost Lake Park in Whistler, BC, with activities based at the Lost Lake PassivHaus on Fitzsimmons Road South. This is the ninth annual running of the community event.

Two main distances are offered:

  • 5 km Drumstick Dash
  • 10 km Gravy Burner

The course uses park trails with a surface mix of gravel and single track on the 10 km route. A water station is provided on the 10 km course. The course is measured and a finish clock displays finish times; there is no chip timing.

Registration includes a run bib, a CA$5 donation to Crohn's and Colitis Canada, a finishers medal, and post-run snacks and hot drinks. Youth under 18 receive an automatic CA$15 discount for the 5 km and 10 km, and groups of six or more receive an automatic 10% discount. Entries are non-refundable; a transfer option is available until seven days before the event.

Practical notes: strollers are permitted only in the 5 km if suitable for light trail use, dogs on leash are permitted only in the 5 km, and bag check is available at participants' own risk. The event was conceived by the Whistler Friends Society and is organized by SEA2SKY Events. Charity partners include Crohn's and Colitis Canada and the Whistler Food Bank. Bib pickup is available the day before at Mt. Waddington Outdoors in Whistler Village and onsite at Lost Lake PassivHaus on event day.
