Lap the Bluffs

Lap the Bluffs is a trail running event through Smoke Bluffs Park in Squamish, British Columbia. The edition listed takes place on Saturday, September 5, 2026. The course uses public park trails and privately owned land managed by the Diamond Head Land Company, on the unceded ancestral territory of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish Nation).

The event offers multiple race formats. Some formats are time limited; participants complete as many laps as they can within the stated duration.

Distances and formats

  • Coffee Run: 1 lap, 4.1 km
  • 3 hour solo: timed event, three hour duration
  • 3 hour team relay: timed relay, three hour duration
  • Little Lapper: 1 km, location McNaughton Park, fee $10

The Coffee Run is a single 4.1 km loop. For the three hour formats, runners record the number of laps completed during the three hour period and may begin a final lap before the time limit. The Little Lapper is a 1 km trail run on a flat, forested route at McNaughton Park.

A trail race in Whistler offering 12K, 26K and 50K through coastal forests and glacier-fed streams. The event supports Zero Ceiling and WORCA and includes stocked aid stations and a technical race shirt.

Guided training runs that preview the Squamish 50 course with GPX maps and light aid stations supplied by Nesters Market and Näak. A minimum $10 donation supports SORCA trail maintenance.
