Ultra Trail Whistler by UTMB

Ultra Trail Whistler by UTMB takes place in the Whistler area of British Columbia, centered on the Whistler Blackcomb resort. The event features two days of racing across multiple courses that move through deep evergreen forest, past mountain lakes, and into high alpine vistas. Runners will encounter views of Black Tusk and varied mountain terrain.

The event acknowledges it runs on the shared, unceded territory of the Lil’wat People (L̓il̓wat7úl) and the Squamish People (Sḵwx̱wú7mesh). The event logo is based on artwork by a Squamish Nation artist; the original piece is displayed at the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre.

The listed races and elevation gains are:

  • 100 KM (5100 m+ elevation gain)
  • 50 KM (3200 m+ elevation gain)
  • 25 KM (1500 m+ elevation gain)

UTMB Cares is active around the event, supporting environmental and community initiatives through The IRONMAN Foundation.
