Trail Running calendar near Squamish 2026-2027

Trail races at Golden Ears Provincial Park with kids runs plus Sport, Enduro and Grit distances. On course aid and a guided hiking division are available and optional finisher medals can be purchased.

Trail races from Capilano University lands in Squamish offering 18 km and 35 km looped courses with substantial ascent and technical sections, plus a non-competitive kids race of about 1 km.

An unofficial trail event at Langdale Ferry Terminal on May 9 with a Brooks-sponsored Strava segment challenge through May. Prizes, a one time 15% in-store discount for segment entries, and post-run shop rewards.

A day at Sasamat Lake featuring open water swims, several SwimRun formats and a new 10K trail race. Distances range from a 1K swim and a 3.5K SwimRun Try It to a 13K SwimRun and 13K relay teams.

Two point to point trail races finish at Deep Cove, offering 25K and 12K distances, multiple aid stations, a paid shuttle, finisher medals and awards for top three.

A locally owned Whistler trail race held since 2004, offering nearly all singletrack courses of 25 km and 50 km. The point to point route includes technical black diamond sections and wide scenic views.

The Heritage Woods Trail Run will take place in Port Moody on Saturday 30 May 2026. You can run between 5 and 10 kilometers.

June 2026

A trail running event in Sechelt on the Sunshine Coast offering marathon, half marathon, 10 km and a kids race; the 6 June 2026 edition is sold out and proceeds support local trail maintenance.

A five kilometre obstacle-course fun run in Surrey on June 6, 2026 featuring over 25 optional obstacles, an inflatable waterslide, mud pits and large amounts of foam, plus a festival area with a free kids zone and vendors.

A loop-based trail race in North Vancouver with up to six 7 km laps, solo and team options, a kids and walk format, and a race village offering aid stations and live music.

A 16 km course from Ambleside Park to Grouse Mountain with 1400 m of ascent. Solo and 2 to 4 person relay options, a 10 week training clinic, cupless aid stations, and funds support the Metro Vancouver Regional Parks Foundation.

A forested trail race in Whistler featuring 12K, 26K and 50K routes from Brandywine Falls to Rainbow Falls. Varied technical terrain, stocked aid stations, and fundraising support for Zero Ceiling and WORCA.

Trail races from Den Duyf Park on the Mackenzie network in Pemberton. Distances of 9K, 22K and 42K include steep climbs, technical singletrack and alpine ridge views.

Community running event featuring an 8 km run, a 4 hour Make It or Break It challenge and a recreational family category. Proceeds support the Coquitlam Foundation Diversity Fund and KidSport TriCities. Event paused for 2026.

Multi Grouse Grind Challenge at Grouse Mountain on June 22, 2026 asks participants to complete as many Grouse Grind ascents as possible while fundraising for North Shore Rescue; entry requires a $150 fundraising minimum.

July 2026

A volunteer run 30 mile trail race on Vancouver’s North Shore that supports North Shore Search and Rescue. The course follows the Baden Powell Trail, has nine aid stations and a 10 hour cutoff, and uses random selection for entries.

Trail running at Cypress Mountain with multiple distances and technical singletrack. Cup free event with on-course electrolyte drink, RunGo live tracking, and on-site amenities including dining and attractions.

Buckin’ Hell is a mountain trail race at Mount Seymour Resort near North Vancouver offering 35 km, 50 km and a 50 km two person relay through technical North Shore trails with substantial climb and descent. A 1 km kids fun run is included.

August 2026

A vertical kilometre in Gibsons on August 1, 2026, where runners can compete for King or Queen of the Mountain or climb together socially. Participants gather at the top and descend together.

Trail race weekend in Squamish, British Columbia on August 15 and 16, 2026. The 50 mile course features over 85% singletrack and more than 11,000 feet of ascent and descent.
