Hallow’s Eve

Hallow’s Eve is a trail running event hosted in North Vancouver with the start and finish at Inter River Park. Courses run over technical North Shore trails with notable climbs and descents, passing sections of Skyline and the Screaming Eagle Chairlift area. From 2025 the marathon route climbs Jetboy trail to join Skyline near the top.

Distances offered:

  • Marathon (42 km)
  • Half marathon (22 km)
  • 10 km

Aid station information is provided for all distances. There are four aid station locations; the marathon passes one aid station five times, the half marathon three times and the 10 km once. Aid stations supply water, electrolyte drink, gels, blocks or chews, cookies and other snacks. First aid supplies are available at every aid station. Participants are expected to carry some hydration and fuel because of long climbs between stations.

The event uses Inter River Park as the start and finish area; parking is available nearby and additional parking at Capilano University is noted. Dry bag drop off is available at the start area and bags should be identified with race numbers. Awards include top three by gender for each event and a costume award; every finisher receives a medal. The race series follows a cup free policy so participants must bring their own container for fluids at aid stations and the finish. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
