Hallow’s Eve

Hallow’s Eve is a trail running event in North Vancouver offering a marathon, a half marathon and a 10 km race. All races start and finish at Inter River Park, near the BMX area and park facilities.

The courses use technical North Shore trails and include substantial climbs. The marathon route now ascends Jetboy trail and links into Skyline before descending. There is a cut-off at the Lynn Headwaters aid station, located at approximately 24.5 km on the course.

Distances offered:

  • Marathon 42 km
  • Half marathon 22 km
  • 10 km

Aid stations are located at multiple points on the courses. Stations provide water, an electrolyte drink, gels, blocks or chews, cookies and other snacks, and first aid supplies are available at every aid station. The marathon passes one aid station multiple times according to the route.

A complimentary course orientation run is offered prior to race day. All finishers receive a finisher medal. Awards are presented to the top three in each gender category for each event, and there are additional awards for best costumes. The event is cup free, so participants must bring their own container for fluids. Parking is available near the start and at nearby locations, and specific parking restrictions are noted by the organizer. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
