Buckin' Hell

The Buckin' Hell event is hosted by Salomon Coast Mountain Trail Running (CMTR). It takes place in the North Shore Mountains near Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

The course features approximately 2500 meters of climbing and descending over rugged, technical terrain. It travels through remnants of old-growth forest and modern mountain bike trails. The start and finish are at the Mount Seymour Resort.

Three distance options are available:

  • 35 km
  • 50 km
  • 50 km two-person relay

All registered runners receive finish line pizza. A Beer Garden is held in partnership with Bridge Brewing. A free kids' race of approximately 1 km is also offered for ages 3-10.

Registration is capped at 600 participants. A portion of each registration fee supports the adoption of the Bridle Path Trail via the North Shore Mountain Bike Association. One tree is planted locally for every registration.

ITRA points are awarded for this event. Bibs are not transferable to another runner under any circumstances. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
