Poco Trail Relay

The Poco Trail Relay is scheduled for September 6, 2026. The course totals 25.3 km and can be run solo or by teams of two, three, or four. Each runner must register and pay an individual entry fee.

Registration periods and fees are:

  • Super-Earlybird through June 15: Adults $40; U17 $30.
  • Earlybird June 16 - July 15: Adults $45; U17 $35.
  • Regular July 16 - August 15: Adults $50; U17 $40.
  • Late August 16 - September 2: Adults $55; U17 $45.
  • Super-late September 3 - 6: Adults $60; U17 $50. GST and checkout fees are additional.

The start and finish are at Hyde Creek Rec Centre. Exchange points include Gates Park, Castle Park, and Tinhouse Brewing. There will be a hydration station with water and electrolytes at each exchange point.

Leg distances and brief notes:

  • Leg 1 - Hyde Creek Rec Centre to Gates Park, 4.1 km.
  • Leg 2 - Gates Park to Castle Park, 7.7 km, includes a 77 m climb called the Poco Climb.
  • Leg 3 - Castle Park to Tinhouse Brewing, 6.1 km.
  • Leg 4 - Tinhouse Brewing to Hyde Creek Rec Centre, 7.4 km.

Teams are responsible for transportation between exchange points. The final runner collects finisher medals for the entire team. Prizes are awarded for Funniest Team Name and Best Costume. A post-run gathering is planned at Tinhouse Brewing. Packet pick up is scheduled for Friday September 4, 4–6 pm, with a limited last-minute pick up available Sunday morning at the Poco Run Club tent. Seek the Peak on June 13, 2026 is a sea to summit race from Ambleside Park to The Peak of Vancouver. The 16 km route gains 1 400 m, can be run solo or by teams of four and finishes with a mountaintop celebration with DJ and BBQ.

A relaxed two hour community trail run in Pacific Spirit Regional Park focused on preparation for UTMB Whistler 10K and 25K. The session covers climbing and descent training, pacing on technical terrain, fueling and gear choices.

Community running event featuring an 8 km run, a 4 hour Make It or Break It challenge and a recreational family category. Proceeds support the Coquitlam Foundation Diversity Fund and KidSport TriCities. Event paused for 2026.

The official sanctioned event on June 22, 2026 at Grouse Mountain to record the most Grouse Grind ascents in one day. Entrants must be 16 or older and meet a fundraising minimum for North Shore Rescue.
