Poco Trail Relay is a team relay on trail held by Poco Run Club on Sunday, September 6, 2026. The event starts and finishes at Hyde Creek Recreation Centre, 1379 Laurier Ave, Port Coquitlam.

The course is split into four marked legs with exchange points at Gates Park, Castle Park and Tinhouse Brewing. Distances by leg are:

  • Leg 2: 7.7 km
  • Leg 3: 6.1 km
  • Leg 4: 7.4 km

Each team member must register, sign a waiver and pay the registration fee. Registration is offered in four periods with different fees for adults and U17 entrants; GST and processing fees apply. Package pick up is scheduled for Friday, September 4, 16:00–18:00 at a location to be confirmed. A last-minute package pick up is available Sunday morning at the POCO RUN CLUB tent between 7:00 and 7:30.

Logistics: teams must arrange transport for runners between start and end points of legs. Water and electrolyte drinks will be available at each exchange point; runners are advised to carry extra fluids as needed. Support vehicles and cheer squads are welcome; support cyclists are allowed on legs 2 to 4. On leg 1 only the lead and sweeper cyclists are permitted.

The final runner for each team will collect finisher medals for the whole team. First place medals are awarded for winners in solo, 2-person, 3-person and 4-person categories. The finish area serves as a runner’s village where sponsors are present, and there is an after party at Tinhouse Brewing for participants with a drink ticket collected at package pick up.
