Monster Dash 5K takes place at Swangard Stadium in Burnaby on October 31, 2026. The event features a main 5K and a children’s Mini Monster Dash held on the stadium track.

The registration package includes a custom swag bag for all registered participants, a goodie bag and finisher medal for Mini Monster Dash participants, a chip-timed race bib for 5K participants, and post-race refreshments. There is no race day registration and spots are limited. Entry payments are nonrefundable and nontransferable.

Age eligibility and race guidelines state the 5K minimum age is 11. Participants aged 11 to 13 must be accompanied on the course by a registered adult. Participants aged 14 to 17 may participate without an accompanying adult, and a parent or legal guardian must sign the waiver for all participants under 18. The Mini Monster Dash is intended only for children aged 10 and under; older children must register for the 5K if eligible.

Terrain includes paved pathways, grass, and loose gravel with slight inclines and uneven surfaces. Pets are not permitted inside the stadium where the start, finish, and post-race activities occur; pets may accompany the Central Park route on a leash. Photography and recording may occur for promotional use. Group pricing and team discounts are available through the event organizers.
