Cypress Mountain 5 Peaks Trail Running, British Columbia

This event is part of the 5 Peaks Trail Running series in British Columbia. The Cypress Mountain course includes technical singletrack sections and steep climbs on doubletrack trails. Onsite activities after the race include the Eagle Coaster, indoor and outdoor dining, and axe throwing.

Distances offered span multiple ages and categories:

  • Kids races: approximately 1 km and 2.75 km
  • Sport Run or Hike: 6.0 km
  • Enduro Run or Hike: 12.75 km
  • Grit Run: 16.4 km

Maps, elevation profiles and aid station locations are provided for each distance and may change based on trail conditions. A non-competitive hiking division runs with designated pace leaders and allows participants to walk the course without time pressure; this division is not an early start for runners. The event operates a cup free policy; water and an electrolyte drink are available at the start, finish and at one or more aid stations. Participants planning to be on course for more than an hour are asked to carry a receptacle for liquids. Optional finisher medals made from sustainably sourced wood in Canada can be pre-purchased and must be picked up at the event. Volunteers who work four hours may select either entry to a future 5 Peaks Series event or an item from the event merch table. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
