5 Peaks at Cypress Mountain, British Columbia

This event is the third race in the 5 Peaks Trail Running Series in British Columbia, held on Cypress Mountain trails. The course features technical singletrack sections and steep climbs on doubletrack trails. The Enduro route includes a technical add-on that passes by alpine lakes and many roots.

Available distances include:

  • Kids approximately 1 to 2.75 km
  • Sport 6.0 km
  • Enduro 12.75 km
  • Grit 16.4 km with an additional ~4 km option

A non competitive hikers division is offered and led by two pace leaders. Hikers must walk without running. Estimated finish times for hikers are about 2 hours for the Sport route and 3 hours for the Enduro route. The event is cup free; water and electrolyte drink are provided at the start, finish and at one or more aid stations. Participants planning to be on course longer than an hour should carry a reusable container. The on course electrolyte beverage is Blonyx Hydra Plus, made with real food ingredients.

On site amenities include portable and alpine area washrooms, ample parking, spectator viewing near the start and finish, indoor and outdoor dining options, the Eagle Coaster, and axe throwing. Community running event featuring an 8 km run, a 4 hour Make It or Break It challenge and a recreational family category. Proceeds support the Coquitlam Foundation Diversity Fund and KidSport TriCities. Event paused for 2026.
