Trail races at Transfer Beach in Ladysmith with roughly 20 km, 10 km and 1 km options, aid stations and a waterfront barbecue. Course maps and parking are available.

Experience a scenic 10 km trail run through the rolling forest paths of Grant Hill in Maple Ridge. This timed event features a beautiful natural course and rewards all finishers with a collectible medal.

A 30 mile trail race along the Baden-Powell Centennial Trail between Horseshoe Bay and Deep Cove, featuring about 8,000 feet of climbing and a field chosen by random selection.

A checkpoint-style trail race of 10 to 15 km through Vancouver trails and landmarks, held in the morning. The event includes coffee, food, DJs and prizes; tickets are limited and refunds are not available.

Trail races at Cypress Mountain feature technical singletrack and sustained climbs across distances from kids races up to 16.4 km. Live tracking, on course aid and a cup free policy are provided.

Mountain trail races at Mount Seymour Resort offering 35 km, 50 km and a 50 km two person relay across technical North Shore trails with significant elevation gain. A non timed 1 km kids run is also included.

August 2026

The Elphinstone Ascent is a vertical kilometre on Mount Elphinstone near Gibsons on 1 August 2026. Limited to 60 runners, it includes a King and Queen of the Mountain classification and a GPX route is provided.

Multi-distance trail event in Squamish, BC on August 15 and 16, 2026, featuring 23 km, 50 km, 50 mile and combined options, with the 50 mile course listed as over 85% singletrack and 11,000 feet of climbing.

Trail races at Cobble Hill Mountain offering long, short and kids distances with aid stations and a cupless policy. Bib pickup requires government photo ID and parking is only in designated nearby areas.

September 2026

A 21 km mountain trail loop around Mt. Gardner in Snug Cove with chip timing and a three person relay option, three aid stations, and proceeds benefiting local trail and conservation groups.

A trail running event at Smoke Bluffs Park in Squamish on September 5, 2026, offering 3 hour timed formats, a single lap Coffee Run, and a 1 km Little Lapper for children.

A four-leg team trail relay in Port Coquitlam with marked exchange points, scheduled package pick up and on-course refreshment stations; the final runner collects finisher medals for the whole team.

Point to point trail race through Garibaldi Provincial Park from Cheakamus Lake to Garibaldi Lake, passing Taylor Creek and the Black Tusk. Field limited to 100 runners and the 25 km distance was sold out.

A two day 70 mile trail relay at Moran State Park on Orcas Island, run over twelve legs by teams of two to six. The course moves through forests, lakeshores, wetlands and the 2,399 foot Mount Constitution summit.

Trail event at Alice Lake in Squamish offering 42k, 21k, 11k and a short fun run with local and virtual options. Five dollars from each entry supports the CMHA STEPS program and all finishers receive a medal.

Timed track event in Duncan BC on September 19, 2026 offering 3 hour, 6 hour, 12 hour and 24 hour formats plus team and virtual options. The event benefits the Victoria Hospitals Foundation and includes awards and participant swag.

Ocean Athletics hosts the Festival of Cross Country on September 19 2026 at Crescent Park in South Surrey. Races cover categories from Seahorse to Masters and registration closes September 16 2026.

Trail races at Mount Seymour Provincial Park about 30 minutes from downtown Vancouver, with distances from kids runs to a 14.1 km Grit course. Courses run through dense forest and around Goldie and Flower lakes, with a noncompetitive hiking..

October 2026

A point to point ultramarathon linking Mount Seymour, Grouse and Cypress in one continuous route. About 57 km with 3,500 m of elevation gain, held in North Vancouver on October 3, 2026.

Trail race near Abbotsford offering 10 km, 20 km and 30 km loops on Sumas Mountain with technical single-track, aid stations and finish-line food. A 30 km team challenge is included and partial proceeds support Central Fraser Valley Search..
