A 30 mile trail race along the Baden-Powell Centennial Trail between Horseshoe Bay and Deep Cove, featuring about 8,000 feet of climbing and a field chosen by random selection.

The Elphinstone Ascent is a vertical kilometre on Mount Elphinstone near Gibsons on 1 August 2026. Limited to 60 runners, it includes a King and Queen of the Mountain classification and a GPX route is provided.

Trail races at Cobble Hill Mountain offering long, short and kids distances with aid stations and a cupless policy. Bib pickup requires government photo ID and parking is only in designated nearby areas.

September 2026

A 21 km mountain trail loop around Mt. Gardner in Snug Cove with chip timing and a three person relay option, three aid stations, and proceeds benefiting local trail and conservation groups.

Trail races at Goldstream Provincial Park on September 12 and 13, 2026. Options include 28 km, 50 km, 50 mile and a double with substantial elevation and multiple aid stations.

Point to point trail race on the Olympic Adventure Trail near Port Angeles with half marathon, marathon and 50K courses finishing at Lake Crescent. Mandatory shuttles, cupless aid stations, limited fields and on course public trail use.

A two day 70 mile trail relay at Moran State Park on Orcas Island, run over twelve legs by teams of two to six. The course moves through forests, lakeshores, wetlands and the 2,399 foot Mount Constitution summit.

Timed track event in Duncan BC on September 19, 2026 offering 3 hour, 6 hour, 12 hour and 24 hour formats plus team and virtual options. The event benefits the Victoria Hospitals Foundation and includes awards and participant swag.

Ocean Athletics hosts the Festival of Cross Country on September 19 2026 at Crescent Park in South Surrey. Races cover categories from Seahorse to Masters and registration closes September 16 2026.

October 2026

Trail races on North Shore terrain with marathon, half marathon and 10 km starting and finishing at Inter River Park. Aid stations, finisher medals, podium awards and costume prizes are part of the event.

Experience the beauty of the Olympic Peninsula at Salt Creek 24. Choose between 12 or 24 hour solo runs, relay teams, or a Last Runner Standing trail challenge overlooking the Strait of Juan de Fuca.

A Halloween-themed 5 km at Swangard Stadium on October 31, 2026, with a 400 m Mini Monster Dash for children 10 and under. Registered runners receive swag, chip timing, and post-race refreshments; kits are picked up the day before.

November 2026

Trail races at Sasamat Trail in Vancouver on November 1 2026, featuring a half marathon plus 10K and 5K. The event raises funds for first responder charities and offers chip timing, aid stations and finisher medals.

A November trail race on North Shore routes offering 12 km, 19.5 km and 25 km distances, on-site aid stations and a food drive for the local food bank. Expect technical trails, muddy sections and possible creek crossings.

December 2026

Trail event at Grouse Mountain on 12/31/2026 offering two in-person races of 10 and 50 miles plus a 10-mile virtual challenge. Registration opens 12/31/2025; fees range from $50 to $120.

February 2027

A winter trail event in Stanley Park on February 21, 2027 offering 2 km, 5 km and 10 km routes. Leashed dogs are welcome and the event raises funds for BC & Alberta Guide Dogs with a virtual participation option.

A 100 mile looped trail race on Orcas Island that uses four 25 mile loops, 15 aid stations and about 26,000 feet of ascent. Variable winter weather and required ferry travel are key logistical factors.
