The Vancouver Island Trail Running Series race at Royal Roads University takes place on April 11, 2026, in Victoria, BC. The event is held on campus at the grassy field near the main entrance and uses single-track trails on Royal Roads grounds. The organisers acknowledge that the event takes place on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of the Esquimalt and Songhees First Nations.

Logistics and course

  • 11 km - long course, ~300 m vertical gain, aid at 7.5 km
  • 6 km - short course, ~100 m vertical gain
  • 1 km - kids race; registration fees support the Southern Vancouver Island Nature Trails Society

There is ample parking in an adjacent dirt lot; pay parking is in effect and parking volunteers will assist. Bib pickup requires a government-issued photo ID and is staggered by race category. The long course has one aid station offering water, Gatorade, and small snacks; the short course has no aid stations. The event is cupless, so participants should bring a personal drinking container or purchase one on site. Course maps and downloadable GPX/TCX files are available online.
