Sooke Hills 50km
Sooke Hills 50 km and 25 km : Sooke Potholes Provincial Park
The event takes place on May 30, 2026, at Sooke Potholes Provincial Park, Sooke River Road, Sooke, British Columbia. Two distances are offered:

- 50 km
Both courses start just below parking lot 2 of the Potholes Regional Park. The 25 km route climbs Peden Lake Trail, follows the Lakes Connector to the Shields Lake viewpoint, then uses Sooke Mountain Park Road, the Charters Connector, Grassy Lake Trail and the Monument Trail. The finish sequence includes the Harrison Trail, the Galloping Goose and crossing the Todd Creek trestle back to the start/finish. Aid stations are located at Shields Lake and below the Charter Creek trestle near Grassy Lake.
The 50 km course includes summits of Mt Empress, Monument Mountain and Mt Quimper and totals around 2000 m of ascent while containing long runnable sections. The route follows the Riverside and Lakes Connector trails, includes the Empress Mountain climb and the Quimper Bike Push-up, and visits aid stations near Shields Lake and the Harbourview parking area.
