Sooke Hills Races

The Sooke Hills event takes place in the Sooke Potholes Regional Park in British Columbia. This trail running event offers two main distances for participants:

  • 50 km
  • 25 km

The course features a diverse mix of terrain, including significant climbs and technical trails. These sections are balanced by flowy, runnable portions that allow for more consistent pacing. Throughout the route, runners are presented with various views of the Sooke hills.

Support is provided through three backcountry aid stations positioned along the course. Participants are supplied with high-quality food and receive custom printed apparel as part of the event. The races are organized with the help of volunteers who staff the aid stations and manage the logistics of the backcountry locations.
