Finlayson Arm - Coastline Endurance Running

Finlayson Arm takes place on September 12 and 13, 2026 at Goldstream Provincial Park in Victoria, BC. The event features multiple trail race formats over two days: 28 km, 50 km, 50 mile, and a combined event called The Double.

Runners start at Goldstream Provincial Park and follow a mix of single track, double track and coastal mountain trails. Vegetation includes Arbutus trees and areas of old growth forest. Routes include several sustained climbs, with sections over Mt. Finlayson, Mt. Work, the climb from McKenzie Bight to Jocelyn Hill, and the stretch around Cascade Creek Waterfall.

Trail runs nearby

Two days of trail racing on Orcas Island centered at Doe Bay Resort with 50K, 25K and a combined 75K option. Courses run on single track through old growth forest with multiple staffed aid stations and significant elevation gain.

Trail races at Cobble Hill Mountain offering long, short and kids distances with aid stations and a cupless policy. Bib pickup requires government photo ID and parking is only in designated nearby areas.

Point to point trail race on the Olympic Adventure Trail finishing at Lake Crescent. Offers half marathon, marathon and 50K distances with mandatory shuttles, cupless aid stations, and a lakeside finish at Log Cabin Resort.

A two day 70 mile trail relay at Moran State Park on Orcas Island, run over twelve legs by teams of two to six. The course moves through forests, lakeshores, wetlands and the 2,399 foot Mount Constitution summit.
