Finlayson Arm

Finlayson Arm takes place on September 12–13, 2026, at the Goldstream group campsites in Goldstream Provincial Park, Victoria, BC (2930 Trans - Canada Hwy). The event offers several trail race distances with significant elevation gain.

Distances offered:

  • 28 km - 4,400 ft elevation
  • 50 km - 10,075 ft elevation
  • 50 miles - 13,000 ft elevation
  • Double (50 miles + 28 km)

Courses mix single track, double track and coastal mountain trails lined with Arbutus trees and old growth forest. The route includes multiple sustained climbs, including Mt. Finlayson, Mt. Work and the ascent from McKenzie Bight to Jocelyn Hill. Views are noted from these climbs and near the Cascade Creek Waterfall.

Registration notes: the 28 km race is listed as sold out. Availability for the 50 km, 50 mile and Double is indicated in the event details at the time of the document. Online registration closes September 6, 2026. Fees are payable in Canadian dollars; 5% GST and 7% PST apply to applicable items. An online processing fee applies and Visa, MasterCard, Amex and Discover are accepted.
