Participants navigate the scenery of the Olympic Peninsula, featuring views of the Strait of Juan de Fuca, evergreen forests, and historical World War II sites. The event is designed with flexibility, allowing participants to come and go from the course as they choose or stop once they reach a personal goal.
The event offers several participation formats:

- Youth Events: Dedicated categories for participants aged 12 and under for both 12 and 24-hour durations.
A fully stocked aid station is provided, with specific food items available during night hours. Participants planning to move continuously may use a limited first-come, first-served area for personal canopies, while others can stage from their vehicles. Camping is available at the Salt Creek Recreation Area, with options for reserved sites or alternative spaces for racers. Fundraising is an optional component for all distances, allowing participants to collect donations for various charity partners. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
