The 5K Foam Fest Vancouver Island, BC

The 5K Foam Fest is a 5 km obstacle-course fun run taking place on May 29, 2027 at Laketown Ranch Music & Recreation Park in Lake Cowichan, British Columbia. The course features more than 25 obstacles, including a large inflatable waterslide, mud pits and about 2.5 million cubic feet of foam. All obstacles are optional.

Participants must be at least 7 years old to run the course. Children aged 7 to 12 must run with a registered adult. Participants aged 13 to 17 do not require an adult chaperone but must follow course rules. Legal guardians must sign waivers for participants under 18. Children 6 and under cannot run the main course but have free access to a Kids Fun Zone with a mini inflatable obstacle course and bounce house; adult supervision is required.

A standard entry includes a festival wristband, string bag, buff, finisher's medal, Foam Fest tattoo, water stations, shower station, change room access, festival area access, free kids zone and a free finish line photo; course photos are available to purchase. Spectators have free access to the festival area, vendors and the beer garden.

A camping option is offered on the night before the event with paid sites, parking fees, limits on site occupancy, restrictions on pets and glass, and specified check-in and checkout procedures. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
