Vancouver First Responders Half Marathon - Trail Edition

The event takes place on November 1, 2026 at Sasamat Trail, West 16th Avenue, Vancouver, BC, Canada. It is part of a series held in Edmonton, Calgary, Saskatoon and Vancouver and aims to support and raise awareness for first responders.

Offered distances:

  • 21K
  • 10K
  • Frontline 5K

Entry packages include a short sleeve cotton running shirt if registered before October 15, a finisher medal, chip timing with live results subject to minimum participation (manual timing may be used), fully stocked aid stations, post race snacks and eligibility for draw prizes. Shirt sizes are not guaranteed for registrations after October 15.

Team events are available for the 21 km and 10 km. Teams consist of four runners who run together; this is not a relay. Team results are calculated by averaging the four individual times and each runner also receives an individual time. If one or more team members do not complete the course, remaining members receive only individual results.

A Run for Charity option requires a reduced entry fee and a commitment to raise a minimum of CA$400 for a selected charity. Fundraising partners include Canadian Mental Health Association BC Division, Wounded Warriors Canada and Canadian Mental Health Association Vancouver Fraser. CA$132.20 has been raised toward a CA$12,500 goal. Thirty three participants are registered.

Online registration closes on October 31, 2026. All entries are non refundable, non transferable and non deferrable. Participants must show picture ID and meet the stated age requirements. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
