July 2026

Relentless24 is a 24 hour endurance run at the Canmore Nordic Centre on July 11, 2026. Solo runners and teams of various sizes use single track and double track trails with mountain views and pacer options.

A multi hour backyard ultra in Airdrie where runners repeat a 6.706 km loop each hour until one runner remains. The event is based at Ed Eggerer Athletic Park with basic aid and infield crew access.

Part of the 5 Peaks series, this Bowmont Park trail event features singletrack riverside routes with options from 1 km kids runs to an 11.7 km enduro, on course aid and washroom facilities at the venue.

A limited field mountain running event at Pomeroy Kananaskis Mountain Lodge featuring a 21.1 km half marathon and a 10 km paved course, with a Zero‑Trace policy and partnership supporting Kananaskis conservation.

August 2026

Iron Legs Mountain Races features multiple trail distances from 25 km to 100 km, plus a 50 mile relay and a Racing Dusk event. Registration is open and the organizer has held events since 2009.

A multi-distance trail event at West Bragg Creek near Bragg Creek AB with significant elevation and multiple aid stations, organized since 1992 by Lewiston Ultra Events.

Trail races at Nose Hill Park on August 30, 2026 offering 34 km, 17 km, 6.8 km and a 2 km kids run, with chip timing, aid stations, medical support and complimentary race photos.

A 17 km one-lap trail race at Nose Hill Park with official chip timing, a midcourse aid station and race photos and swag included.

September 2026

Trail running at the Canmore Nordic Centre with distances from 1 km kids races to a 19.3 km Grit course. Courses use singletrack and doubletrack trails and bear spray is required for the longer categories.

A community fundraiser in Sundre, Alberta in September 2026 featuring 3K and 6K adult runs plus a kids Mini Run, supporting Burden Bearers Counselling and The Den SYC with bracelets, a foam pit option and post-run refreshments.

A community cross-country event at Rosemont Hall featuring a 1 km kids' race and a 3 × 3 km three-person relay on groomed grass with tunnel runs and shallow creek crossings. Pre-registration and waivers required.

Trail races at Weaselhead Flats in southwest Calgary form the fifth and final event of the Central Alberta 5 Peaks series. Distances range from kids races to a 14.0 km enduro on hard pack and singletrack.

October 2026

A trail event at the Canmore Nordic Centre on October 3, 2026 featuring 5K and 10K courses on double-track dirt trails, aid stations with Precision Fuel and finish line pie from JK Bakery.

Grizzly Ultra is set for Saturday, October 10, 2026, organized by Grizzly Events. Online registration via Zone4.ca closes October 5, 2026 and the form includes duplicate bib checks and payment options.

December 2026

Racing Dusk is a 20 mile race at West Bragg Creek near the winter solstice. The course has three counter clockwise loops that can be run in any order and there is an eight hour time limit.
