5 Peaks - Weaselhead
5 Peaks Weaselhead : Weaselhead Flats, Calgary
The event takes place in the Weaselhead Natural Area, a 237 hectare park in southwest Calgary. The course uses hard pack surfaces and singletrack trails and passes through areas with local plant and wildlife. This race is the fifth and final event in the Central Alberta 5 Peaks Trail Running Series and is held on the last weekend of September.

- 7.6 km Sport Run or Hike
- 14.0 km Enduro Run or Hike
Course maps, elevation profiles and aid station locations are provided and may change based on trail conditions up to race day. The event is cup free so no cups will be provided at the start, finish or on course. Water and electrolyte drink are available at the start and finish and at one or more aid stations; participants planning to be out longer than about an hour should carry a receptacle for fluids and nutrition.
Awards include medals for top finishers by gender and age in each distance and for overall top three male and female finishers. Medals and event swag are not included in the individual registration price and must be collected at the race. Restroom facilities are available at the start / finish area. Parking is available in the Weaselhead Flats lot and on street. Spectators are welcome. For safety, dogs, headphones, strollers or baby joggers and nordic walking poles are not allowed on the course.
