5 Peaks - Weaselhead
Weaselhead Flats 5 Peaks Trail Running
The event takes place at Weaselhead Flats, a 237 hectare natural area in southwest Calgary. The park features hard pack and singletrack trails and supports local wildlife and plantlife. This race is the fifth and final event in the Central Alberta 5 Peaks Trail Running Series, held on the last weekend of September.
Race maps include elevation gain and loss plus aid station locations. Distances and maps may change up to race day due to trail conditions.

Packet pick up is available at Strides (Lake Fraser Drive SE) and onsite at Weaselhead Flats. The 1 km kids registration is free and handled on race morning. Washroom facilities are available at the start and finish. Parking is available in the Weaselhead Flats parking lot and on street. Spectators are welcome.
Safety rules prohibit dogs, headphones, strollers or baby joggers, and nordic walking poles on course. The event is cup free; water and electrolyte drink will be available at the start and finish and at one or more aid stations. Swag and finisher medals are not included in the registration price and must be purchased separately. Awards are given to the top three finishers by gender and age category in each distance and to the top three male and female overall; all awards and swag must be picked up at the race.
