Trail Running Calendar Alberta 2026-2027

Union Trail Run at Kin Coulee Park on May 17 2026 features 5K and 10K courses across trails, paths, hills and cross country. All competitors are timed and receive medals with age group awards in seven categories.

A two hour in person fitness challenge at Legacy Park in Lethbridge that places adults, children and K9 on a military style course. Organized by Zulu Challenge with tickets from CAD 57.31 to 107.64 and a no refunds policy.

A timed ultramarathon in Sherwood Park where runners cover as many laps as possible in set time limits. The event offers kids races, 6 hour, 12 hour, 24 hour and relay options and supports the Saffron Centre.

Hidden Oasis Ultra is a trail ultramarathon of roughly 50 kilometres in Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park. The course reaches the park high point at 1466 meters and the event includes pre race activities and post race gatherings.

Run Edmonton's single-track trails in the North Sun Ultra. Choose between a challenging 50 km ultramarathon or a 30 km trail race through the river valley. This non-profit event supports local community organizations with its proceeds.
