The inaugural Snake Hill Backyard Ultra in Sundre on May 30, 2026 challenges runners to complete as many 6.7 km laps as they can, starting a new lap each hour on rooty, rocky trails; proceeds fund local trail care.

June 2026

Trail races at the Canmore Nordic Centre ranging from 1 km to 22 km, with mountain views, technical singletrack and a requirement to carry bear spray for most distances.

A mountain trail event in Jasper offering 25 km and 61 km routes with technical terrain and a short scree section, finishing at Folding Mountain Landing with music, food and beer.

A 20-mile trail run in the coulees of Lethbridge on June 6, 2026, open to solo runners and teams up to five. The hilly route has little shade and water at transition points.

A two hour in person fitness challenge at Legacy Park in Lethbridge that places adults, children and K9 on a military style course. Organized by Zulu Challenge with tickets from CAD 57.31 to 107.64 and a no refunds policy.
