Racing Dusk 20 Miler
Racing Dusk is a 20-mile trail race organized by Iron Legs Running Company at West Bragg Creek on 19 December 2026. The course is made up of three loops that all start and finish at the West Bragg Creek trailhead. Each loop must be run counter clockwise, and runners may choose the order in which they run the three loops.
The event carries an overall time limit of eight hours. Conditions can vary near the winter solstice, with a potential for cold weather or snow and reduced daylight, so appropriate clothing and equipment are emphasized. GPX files for each loop are available in the Misc Race Info tab.
Mandatory gear to carry at all times includes mitts or gloves, a race bib, at least one litre of water, a toque, an additional warm layer, and a space blanket or bivy bag. A headlamp may be required in some circumstances.
