The 5K Foam Fest - Cochrane, AB
The event is a 5 km obstacle course fun run held at the Cochrane and District Agricultural Society on Bow Valley Trail in Cochrane, Alberta on June 26, 2027. The course includes more than 25 obstacles, such as a large inflatable waterslide, mud pits, and an estimated 2.5 million cubic feet of foam. Obstacles are optional and participants may move through the course at their own pace.
The festival area features continuous music, food vendors, local vendors, a beer garden and free access for spectators. A free Kids Fun Zone is available for children aged six and under; these children cannot run the 5 km course and require adult supervision in the Kids Fun Zone. Participants aged seven and up may run the course. Children ages seven to twelve must run with a registered adult. Participants aged thirteen to seventeen do not require an adult chaperone but any participant under 18 requires a legal guardian to sign event waiver(s).
Registration for an individual entry includes the run, a festival wristband, string bag, buff, finisher medal, a Foam Fest tattoo, water stations, shower station, change room access, access to the festival area, the free kids zone, and one free finish line photo. The event lists no refunds on entries but offers transfer options.
