October 2026
Part of the 2026-2027 Calgary Roadrunners Grand Prix, the River Park Classic X/C offers 8 km and 4 km races plus a short kids run at Sandy Beach picnic area. Online pre-registration is preferred and entry fees apply.
Grizzly Ultra is on Sunday October 11 2026, organized by Grizzly Events with online registration via Zone4; registration closes October 5.

December 2026
A community cross country event through Bowmont Park with options for children and adults, timed races, and a post race meal at the Silver Springs Community Association. Festive outfits are common and winter footing is expected.
A three-loop 20 miles winter race at West Bragg Creek with an 8 hour limit, loop-order choice, GPX routes, and specific mandatory gear.
January 2027
Experience a classic winter cross country race on the scenic Panorama Hills trails in Calgary. Choose between 4 km and 8 km distances on a snowy and varied terrain with a community social to follow.
Cross-country race in Twelve Mile Coulee with a kids run and 4 km and 8 km courses over snow ice and mud, cash entry fees and post race soup at Tuscany Community Hall.
February 2027
A winter cross-country race at Nose Hill Park offering 4 km and 8 km courses plus a kids fun run, part of the 2025 to 2026 Grand Prix Series. The 2026 event is the 41st running.

A community backyard ultra beside the Oldman River on May 1, 2027. Runners repeat a 6.71 km out and back loop while proceeds support Youth One programs and services for teens.
Vertical Vendetta is a Vertical K at Pass Powderkeg in Crowsnest Pass Alberta featuring four lift line ascents totaling 1,000 m of vertical gain over 9.75 km.

June 2027
Trail runs at Canmore Nordic Centre on singletrack with multiple distances; bear spray is required for longer races. Event is sold out.
A 5 km obstacle-course fun run on June 19, 2027 in the Edmonton area featuring over 25 optional obstacles, abundant foam, a festival area and a Kids FUN Zone. Registration includes festival amenities and a finisher's medal.
