Sinister 7 Ultra - Blairmore, Alberta, Canada
Sinister 7 Ultra is a multi-distance trail event held in Blairmore, Crowsnest Pass, Alberta on July 10, 2027. The race is run over seven stages that highlight geographic and historic points along the route; the event name refers to the Seven Sisters Mountain near the course.

Racers may enter as solo runners or as part of a team of up to seven. Relay teams must register with at least two teammates and can add teammates later; teams may use an access code to control who joins. Participants are allowed 30 hours to complete the full event.
Course composition notes: the 50-mile covers half of leg 4 plus legs 5 through 7; the 50k combines half of leg 1, half of leg 2, and leg 3; the Half Marathon covers half of leg 1 and half of leg 2.
For 2027 and 2028 the event includes Athletics Canada championships: the 50k is the Athletics Canada Short Trail Championship and the 50-mile is the Athletics Canada Long Trail Championship. Athletics Canada members can add themselves to the championship roster through the event form; membership may be purchased later and still added.
The event program includes pre-race check-in and meetings, a welcome dinner and ceremony, race-day support with medical and emergency standby, finishers' medals for finishers, optional post-race meals and an awards presentation. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
