Sinister 7 Ultra - Blairmore, Alberta
Sinister 7 Ultra is a trail race centered on Blairmore in the Crowsnest Pass region of Alberta. The course is split into seven stages, each highlighting a geographic or historic feature of the area. The race name references the Seven Sisters Mountain that looms over much of the route.
The event accepts solo runners and teams of up to seven people. Participants have thirty hours to complete their chosen distance. There is also a kids race held as part of the event.

For 2027 and 2028 the 50k is the Athletics Canada Short Trail Championship and the 50-miler is the Athletics Canada Long Trail Championship. Athletics Canada members can add themselves to the championship through the event form and may purchase membership later and still be added to the roster.
Event services include a pre-race welcome dinner and ceremony, quality event swag, finisher medals for finishers, an optional post-race meal, an awards ceremony, and medical and emergency standby support. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
