Chad's Day for Change
Chad’s Day for Change is an annual urban trail race held in Edmonton’s river valley, scheduled for Saturday, August 7, 2027. The event takes place on trails through the river valley and returns as a community running event for 2027.
Registration for the 2027 edition opens on January 1, 2027. The race is organized to raise awareness and funds for men’s mental health and to bring runners and volunteers together around that cause.
Proceeds and donations from the event support HeadsUpGuys, an organization that provides education, resources and support to change men’s attitudes toward seeking help. The event has raised more than $28,000 to support that mission.
