About the race
YYC Sub Ultra Trail Run takes place at Nose Hill Park in Calgary, Alberta on August 29, 2027. The event uses trails around Shaganappi Trail and the Edgemont Boulevard area and offers several distance options.

The 17 km route has 500 m of elevation gain and the 34 km route has 1000 m of elevation gain. For the 34 km, 17 km and 6.2 km races participants receive a swag item, a racer bib, on course medical and safety support, a clearly marked course, and official chip timing provided by Startline Timing. The event atmosphere includes a finisher arch, music and a race announcer. Post race food includes a dairy free sticky bun from Kashew Bakery. Finisher medals and event t shirts are available for purchase.
The kids 2 km event is an untimed division; participants receive a swag item, a racer bib, on course medical and safety support and a sticky bun. A free kids finisher medal is offered to those registered before August 1, 2027. Package pick up is available the day before at Bow Cycle and Sports and there is late package pick up at the Nose Hill Park parking area on race day. Registration fees vary by registration period.
