Course and logistics
The course is singletrack focused and follows trails overlooking the Bow River valley and the city skyline. Runners begin with a traverse west on the Sideshow Bob trail, then drop into Dale Hodges Park before looping west and connecting to trails that run parallel to the Bow River. Sport runners return from Silverthorn Park while Enduro runners follow a longer loop further east before joining the final stretch. The route includes rolling hills, several steep climbs and descents, and can be hot. The event is cup-free; water and electrolyte drink are available at the start/finish and at one or more aid stations on course. Participants expected to be out longer than an hour should carry their own receptacle for fluids and nutrition. Spectators are welcome. Awards are given to top finishers by gender and age category and must be picked up at the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
