CRR Okotoks Cross-Country Race

The CRR Okotoks Cross-Country is a fall trail race held on the park trails around the Okotoks Recreation Centre. The start and finish are on a grassy area east of the recreation centre. Courses follow rolling park trails with moderate elevation. Spikes or cleats may help in icy or muddy conditions.

The event is part of the 2025-2026 Calgary Roadrunners Grand Prix Series. Pre-registration is closed; on-site registration will be available on race day. Payment is requested in cash.

Distances offered:

  • 1 km Kids Fun Run
  • 4 km youth and open categories including masters
  • 8 km age groups in 10 year brackets

Categories and fees are listed for children, open and masters divisions. Entry fees are General Entry $12, CRR Members $8, Full-Time Students $6, Children 12 and under free. A parent or guardian must check the waiver on the pre-registration form for participants under 18; participants 18 and over must acknowledge the waiver as well.

A post-race social is scheduled at the Crystal Shores Residents Association, 403 Milligan Dr, about 500 m east of the course, with hot soup and desserts. Participants are asked to bring their own bowl, mug, and spoon. Volunteer roles include setup, timing, course marshaling, kitchen support, and more.
