A short fell race in Burnsall on 6 September 2026 with a 1.50 mile route and about 240 m of climb across fields, heather and a summit section. Parking is usually in a nearby field for a small charge.

A long fell race of about 17 miles and 1,066 m of climb around Totley, Sheffield. The unmarked, partially marshalled route requires self-navigation and mandatory FRA kit, with two water stations and limited parking near the pavilion.

Scenic trail runs in Tibthorpe, Driffield offering 4 miles and 8 miles routes for runners and canicross participants. Chipped timing, medals, prizes, dog awards, parking, toilets and post race food are provided.

Experience the scenic trails of East Yorkshire with or without a canine companion. This event offers 4 and 8 mile chipped trail runs starting from Field House Coffee Barn with medals for all finishers.

Enjoy a Peak District fell race at Oxspring Playing Field, a punchy 6.2 km course with 190 m of ascent through scenic terrain. On the day entries welcome for a modest fee and the event is part of an eight race series.

A 100 km circuit of Leeds on the waymarked Leeds Country Way, mostly trail and passing villages and nature reserves. The event has nine supported checkpoints, mandatory GPX navigation and specified mandatory kit.

A 50 mile circular ultramarathon through the Lincolnshire Wolds starting from Swallow Village Hall. The course gains about 1,370 m of elevation, features four aid stations, an 18 hour cut off and limited entry for 150 runners.

A 10 miles trail run across the North York Moors following part of the Lykewake Walk, visiting Lilla Howe and Louven Howe with moorland terrain and coastal views. Entries are limited to 50, minimum age 18, with a three hour time limit.

An off-road full marathon and a 14.8 mile half marathon held each September, both with substantial ascent, mandatory FRA kit and stocked feed stations; entries often sell out and chip timing is used with live updates.

Bradley Fell Race in Bradley Village near Skipton features a 3.50 mile fell course with about 274 meters of climb, age categories from Under 9 to Seniors, and registration plus parking at the U9 field.

Trail event on 13 September 2026 at Burton Pidsea Memorial Hall with a 10K, a 5K and a children's fun run. Online and on the day entries are available with separate affiliated fees.

A hilly, chip timed trail race in the Colne Valley on 13 September 2026 covering roughly 6.0 miles with about 300 m of climb. The marshalled and waymarked route finishes at Zapato Brewery and offers mainly trail surfaces.

A Hawes-based trail ultra on limestone rights of way offering a 70 km loop with an optional +30 km extension to make 100 km, GPX and on-course refreshments provided, indoor HQ facilities, eco medals and age-category trophies.

A 50 km autumn mountain trail race based in Hawes, Yorkshire Dales, crossing Pen-Y-Ghent and returning to the start. The course has 1280 metres of ascent, GPX and course notes are supplied, and on-course refreshments are provided.

A flat, chip-timed canal race in Rodley, Leeds offering distances from 5K to ultramarathon with feed stations every 3 miles, GPX routes, bespoke medals and marshalled support.

Classic fell race in Kettlewell, Yorkshire Dales: 4 mile route with 475 m climb over rugged upland terrain. Open to 16+ with pre entry or entry on the day, teams welcome and free parking for entrants.

Trail half marathon and 10k in Bronte Country near Haworth, organised by Sue Ryder. Entry fees start at £15; finishers receive pie and peas and a race memento.

A weekend running event in Knaresborough on 20 September 2026 offering 10K and Half Marathon routes through scenic Yorkshire countryside. Finishers receive a jumble medal and hot food, with entry available online or on the day.

Tackle the Fryup Frazzler in the North York Moors, a scenic 5.8 mile fell run from the Cycle Hub cafe with roughly 475 m of climb. Part of the Esk Valley summer fell series, it mixes tough slopes with rewarding views.

A waterside trail event near Otley with routes passing seven reservoirs and options from half marathon to ultramarathon. Mandatory kit and tracker provisions apply, with checkpoints and finish food plus a medal and event T-shirt.
