The Pen-Y-Ghent 50 km ultra is a mountain trail race based in Hawes, Yorkshire Dales. The route follows established limestone trails out along the Cam Road to Horton in Ribblesdale, includes a summit of Pen-y-Ghent, and returns along the Cam Road. Total ascent on the course is 1280 metres. The route is not waymarked beyond fixed finger posts; navigation course notes and a GPX file are provided to entered participants.
