Trail Running calendar near Ogmore-by-Sea 2026-2027

Three coastal trail races on the Vale of Glamorgan coast on 24 April 2027, including a 32.5 mile ultra, 18.5 mile trail and 10 mile route. The course follows the Wales Coast Path and finishes at Ogmore-by-Sea Village Hall.

A walking and running event around Bath with routes of 12.5, 17, 21 and 26.5 miles over public footpaths, staffed checkpoints, a finisher's medal and post-event refreshments.

Coastal trail event at Little Haven on 24 April 2027 offering 10K, half, marathon and ultra distances on mixed grass, beach and coastpath terrain; it counts toward the Endurancelife season leaderboard and includes an online check in.

The Canal Shuffle will take place in Sampford Peverell on Saturday 24 April 2027. You can run between 10 and 53 kilometers.

A multi-distance trail running weekend in East Devon with on-site camping, GPS-tracked courses, UTMB Index status and supported aid stations across routes from about 25 km to 110 km.

A 5k obstacle course at Coopers Field, Bute Park, Cardiff, with tarmac paths and grassy sections that can get boggy after rain. The event raises funds for Cancer Research UK and uses staggered wave starts; participants must be 13 or older.

A Pretty Muddy 5k obstacle course at Lydiard Park on 01 May 2027 featuring mixed paths, hills and muddy obstacles. The event has wave starts, blue badge parking on grass and a minimum fundraising target of £50.

An official Backyard Ultra at Blaise Castle Estate on 1 May 2027 where runners complete a 6.7056 km loop each hour until one runner remains. The woodland loop is hilly and technical, head torches are mandatory at night and minimum age is 20..

Trail races from Caffyns Farm, Lynton, through Exmoor National Park with five routes from 5 km to a 56 km ultra. Expect coastal paths, moorland and technical terrain with substantial elevation.

A trail race following the Windsor Hill railway path through woods, tunnels and viaducts, finishing in Shepton Mallet. Routes and walking options are provided, with a lunchtime boxty feast in the market place.

A Wales trail event offering 100 mile and 100 km races across Offa’s Dyke, the Cambrian Way and the Beacons Way with volunteer support.

Point to point 50 mile ultra on Saturday 8 May 2027 with flat canal and coastal sections, six aid stations, a 14 hour cut-off and a Minehead finish.

A 100 miles Somerset route combining canal, coast and upland trails with 13 aid stations, tracking, a 32 hour cut off and on-course medical cover.

A 50 mile Somerset trail ultra with about 7337 ft ascent, coastal and moorland terrain, six aid stations and a 16 hour cutoff.

Trail running event at Martinhoe in Exmoor National Park on 8 May 2027 with 10K to ultra distances across moorland, woods and coastline. Points from each finish count toward the Endurancelife season leaderboard.

Stroud Trails on 9 May 2027 offers four marked trail races across the Cotswolds with checkpoints, water stations, marshals and a mandatory 500 ml water carry.

Trail races at Roadford Lake in Devon include a half marathon, 10K, 5K, canicross options and kids races, with chip timing, medals and finish line refreshments. Parking is charged at £5 per car.

The Race for Life Pretty Muddy Swansea will take place in Swansea on Saturday 15 May 2027. You can run 5 kilometers.

A 10k trail run at Symonds Yat with riverside views and a notable final one kilometre climb. The mostly off road course includes long gravel firetracks and on site coffee and hot food.

Trail running from Sudeley Castle through the northern Cotswolds, with five routes from 7 km to 50 km across bridleways, woodland and open ridge lines.
