Swindon Pretty Muddy 5k - Lydiard Park

The event is a Pretty Muddy 5k obstacle course held at Lydiard Park in Swindon (Hook Street, SN5 3PA) on 01 May 2027. Participants move around a route that uses tarmacked paths and woodland trails and includes hills, uneven ground, twists and turns. The course requires climbing, crawling and sliding over obstacles and finishes on grass near a large oak tree. The start area is on grass by the children's play area outside the Jungle Parc and Forest Cafe.

Waves start every 15 minutes to manage numbers on the course. Participants must be 13 years of age or older. The event is not wheelchair accessible; the start and finish areas are on firm grass but may become soft and muddy in wet conditions. Blue badge parking is available on grass about 100 m from the event site. General event parking is provided free on grass inside Lydiard Park via the gate off Hook Street; stewards will direct vehicles. There are few public transport links; the nearest train station is at Swindon, several miles away.

Facilities listed include toilets, refreshments and parking. Dogs are not allowed. Showers and bag drop are not available and the site is not suitable for pushchairs. Entry prices shown are Earlybird Adult £11.24 and Earlybird Children £6.00 with a minimum fundraising target of £50. Participants receive event materials including a fundraising pack, a customisable back sign, training support and a finishers medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
