Swindon Pretty Muddy 5k - Lydiard Park

Swindon Pretty Muddy is a 5 km obstacle event at Lydiard Park in Swindon on Saturday 02 May 2026. The course combines tarmacked paths and woodland trails and includes hills, uneven ground, twists and turns. Participants climb, crawl and slide around a series of muddy obstacles and return to a grass finish area near a large oak tree.

The start line is on grass beside the children's play area outside the Jungle Parc and Forest Cafe. Wave starts are staggered every 15 minutes; groups are asked to book the same wave time. To take part, individuals must be 13 years of age or older; a separate Pretty Muddy Kids offering exists for children aged 12 and under.

Event parking is provided free of charge on grass within Lydiard Park via the Hook Street gate, with blue badge parking near the front of the event parking area. The closest pedestrian access is from Gower Close. Cycling racks and electric vehicle charging points are not available. Facilities listed for the event include refreshments and toilets; dogs, bag drop and showers are not available and the event is not suitable for wheelchair users or pushchairs.

Entry prices shown are Adults £22.49 and Children £12.00, with a minimum fundraising target of £50.00. Participants receive a fundraising pack, a customisable back sign, training resources, community access and a Race for Life medal on completion.
