Westcountry Ultra 100 is a 100 mile trail race held on Saturday 9th - Sunday 10th May 2026. The published elevation is 9,538 ft. The entry fee is £100 and the cut-off time is 32 hours. The route combines the Flat 50 and Hilly 50 courses and follows a mix of canal, river and coastal paths, plus inland trails and woodland.
Course and aid stations
The route uses the Taunton to Bridgwater canal path, the River Parrett Trail, the England Coast Path and the South-West Coast Path. Notable features along the course include coastal limestone formations at Kilve Beach, Hinkley Point power station, parts of the Quantocks and Dunkery Beacon. There are 13 aid stations; aid is cupless so runners must carry bottles and a cup. Aid station supplies include water, coke, squash, sandwiches, crisps, fruit, nuts and sweets. Overnight aid stations offered hot food in 2024.

Logistics and rules
Start location is Canal Road, Taunton, TA1 1PN. Finish location is West Somerset College, Bircham Road, Minehead, TA24 6AY. Pacers are allowed from the halfway point at West Somerset College. Drop bags are allowed at the halfway aid station but must be small. Tracking was introduced in 2025. Professional medics will cover the race and in an emergency participants should call 999. Recommended kit is listed by the organiser and includes a waterproof jacket, headtorch with spare batteries, high visibility clothing, whistle, compass, charged mobile phone, at least one 500 ml water bottle and a foil survival blanket.
