East Devon Round 2027

The East Devon Round is a trail running weekend held at Offwell Village Hall, Offwell near Honiton, on the first bank holiday weekend of May (30 April to 2 May 2027). The event offers multiple route options over marked and GPS-tracked trails that pass through rolling countryside, ancient woodland, Iron Age forts and sections of the Jurassic Coast. Routes include bluebell-lined tracks and varied climb and descent across National Landscapes and a World Heritage Site.

Distances offered:

  • Full Round: approx 68 miles (approx 110 km)
  • Half Round: approx 38 miles (approx 61 km)
  • The Other Half: approx 31 miles (approx 50 km)
  • EDR QTR: approx 15 miles (approx 24 km)

Courses are GPS tracked using Geo Tracks and include aid stations on each route (Full 9 aid stations; Half 5; Other Half 5; Quarter 2). The event provides on-site camping at the event HQ, meal provision during the weekend, finishers receive a t-shirt, medal and a warm meal, and some shuttle bus services are available for participants. Entry follows age and distance guidance from England Athletics and the Trail Runners Association. Guided recce runs of the route will be offered in the months before the event. Trail runs nearby

Trail event on 7 June 2026 in Mill Marsh Park, Bovey Tracey, with looped laps of the Wray Valley Trail and distance choices from 5 km up to ultra marathon, flexible start times and a lower price no medal option.

A community 5k and 10k at Neroche Primary School with chip timing and countryside multi-terrain routes. Proceeds support the Neroche School PFA and a children’s fun run is held for a small donation.

A circular mixed terrain event around Exeter with a 14.2 mile Green Circle half marathon and a 9 mile Yellow Zone option. Both races start together and the course passes valleys and parks along the River Exe.

A series of coastal ultra races along the Jurassic Coast World Heritage site offering distances from 33 km to 105 miles, self navigation on the South West Coast Path, live GPS tracking and ITRA points for selected distances.
