East Devon Round 2026

The East Devon Round is a multi-course trail running festival based at Offwell Village Hall near Honiton (EX14 9SE), held on the first bank holiday weekend in May. The event includes camping, meal tickets, bag drop services and live GPS tracking for most courses. It is licenced by the Trail Running Association (licence number 7838) and held under UK Athletics rules.

Distances offered include:

  • Full Round - approx 68 miles, 10,815 ft elevation, 9 aid stations
  • Half Round - approx 38 miles, 5,968 ft elevation, 5 aid stations
  • The Other Half - approx 31 miles, 4,598 ft elevation, 5 aid stations (invitation only)
  • EDR Quarter - approx 15 miles, 2,018 ft elevation
  • East Devon Mini Round - community event with donation to charity

Mandatory kit is required for all entrants; full and half entrants must carry items such as a waterproof jacket, emergency blanket and whistle, headtorch with spare batteries, water carrying capacity, spare warm top, mobile phone, nutrition, a GPX route and a GPS tracker fitted at registration. Routes are waymarked and GPS tracked via GeoTracks but runners should be prepared to self-navigate.

Cut offs are used at checkpoints to support volunteers; transport is available from checkpoints when required. Camping and catering options are available at event HQ. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.

The Exeter Half Marathon will take place in Exeter on Saturday 7 February 2026.

A self navigated 17 mile trail loop around Sidmouth visiting four trig points. The event has a c.914 m climb, requires pre entry and is for adults only, with proceeds donated to Cardiac Risk in the Young.

Take on the Wray Valley Trail in Bovey Tracey with Phoenix Running Devon The Launch. Scenic 5.3 km laps along the River Bovey, flexible start times and a keepsake memento for every finisher. Limited to 50 runners, so book early.

Multi-distance trail event in Dalwood, Axminster on 15 February 2026 with 10 mile, 5 km and 3 km routes across muddy, hilly countryside. Village Hall is race HQ with parking, toilets and on-site medical support.
