Solstice Social - Exeter
This is a free social run taking place in Exeter on 20th December 2026. The event follows a planned loop of 50k that combines several local route sections chosen by a local runner for Ruby Red Running. Participants may run all or part of the route.
The run is organised as a social outing rather than a race. There will be muster points along the route so faster runners can go ahead while slower runners can catch up. Remaining at muster points is part of the event insurance conditions; runners who do not wait may be considered to be running individually and therefore not covered.
Entry is free and donations will be collected for the MND charity My Name'5 Doddie Foundation. The organiser will not provide formal aid stations, so participants should expect to carry their own supplies. Some muster points are planned near pubs and there may be occasional pop up provisions.
The meeting location is Trood Road car park and the planned finish is at Ridgetop Park. Route files for GPS and OS Maps are noted as coming soon. Participation is limited to 30 people. Christmas fancy dress is optional. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
