An approximately four mile multi terrain race on 2 July 2026, starting and finishing at Care & Repair on Rowley’s Drive in Shotton. Entry is £10 or £8 for affiliated club members and prizes are given across all age categories.

A guided trail running weekend in the Peak District with bunkhouse accommodation, a 23 mile Edale Skyline route and an optional 10 km loop the next day. The terrain is rugged and a good level of fitness is required.

Take on the Fellrunner at Heptonstall Festival, a scenic 9.5 km fell race with about 500 m of climb in the South West Pennines. Finish to live music, food stalls and a free pint; entry on the day £7.

Warslow Fell Race on 4 July 2026 features senior and junior fell races from Warslow Village Hall. The senior course is 10 km with 675 m ascent on steep, technical terrain and is licensed by the Fell Runners Association.

A summer trail race and family fun run at Coal Aston Gala in Moss Valley, Derbyshire. The main 4.7 mile course follows public rights of way through farmland and woodland and includes a small ford, with prizes and goody bags for finishers.

The CWM Elan Back Yard Ultra will take place in Rhayader on Saturday 4 July 2026. You can run 7 kilometers.

A low-key fell race at the Oakworth gala on 4 July 2026, held at Oakworth Gala Field. The 9 km course climbs about 250 m, is marshalled, has an entry fee of £5 and allows entries on the day.

Trail options from Bakewell across the Southern Peak District include 100 km, 50 km, 25 km and a 10 mile Bakewell option. The event features a signed route, GPS tracking, covered rest stops, medical support and camping facilities.

Pretty Muddy 5k at Heaton Park on 4 July 2026 is an obstacle course event over grass, paths and woodland where participants aged 13 and over take part in staggered waves while fundraising for cancer research.

A 24 hour challenge on a 1 mile loop at Nuneaton Harriers track where runners complete one mile each hour for 24 consecutive hours, with a substantial finisher's medal for completers and limited attended places.

A fell race of 8.7 km with 700 m ascent around Moel Siabod, partially marked and requiring navigation. Entry on the day is £5 and junior races are included as part of the Capel Curig Village Festival.

A community organised fell race around Great Hucklow covering about 10 km with roughly 340 m of ascent. The route crosses moorland, fields and woods and finishes back at the school with flapjacks provided by the village.

A trail half marathon at Lyme National Trust on 5 July 2026 with a route via the Gritstone Trail, Kerridge Ridge and the Macclesfield Canal. The course is fully marked and marshalled with two aid stations and a finishers medal or tree optio..

Forest trail races at Cannock Chase on 5 July 2026 feature a half marathon and 10k through hilly woodland, available route maps, on-site parking, a bespoke medal and free race photographs.

Trail races of 10 km, 22 km and 50 km take place around Tittesworth Reservoir in the southern Peak District on 5 July 2026, with marked courses, regular aid stations and on site pay and display parking.

Two mainly off road routes around Matlock on 5 July 2026 offer 35 km with 1000 metres ascent or 17 km with 500 metres ascent. The unmarked course raises funds for Derby Mountain Rescue Team and issues a finishers certificate.
