A two day fitness festival at Druridge Bay Country Park with timed loop races, a functional fitness hybrid event, live music, wellness sessions, vendors and an afterparty. Heart Break Lake accepts solo entries, pairs or teams up to 10.

August 2026

A 37 mile loop along Isaac's Tea Trail through the North Pennines AONB with 4800 ft ascent. Solo ultra and three leg relay options include checkpoints, GPX route files and a 12 hour completion window.

A one lap trail race around Templeton Woods on 2 August 2026 covering about 5.5 miles. The event is open to runners aged 18 and over and features marked routes, first aid, refreshments and age and team prizes.

Take on the Gateshead Trail 10 km through Derwent Walk Country Park on 22 Aug 2026. Enjoy mostly gentle trails and a social double loop. Finish in a lively village with food, music and coffee and grab a designer medal bottle opener.

An inflatable 5K obstacle course in Newcastle, Northumberland on Saturday 22 August 2026, with recent booking activity and an attendee reporting friendly staff and enjoyable obstacles.

A challenging fell race in Northumberland's beautiful countryside. The 5.8km route features 300m of climb and is part of the regional championship. Entry is available on the day.

Cross the scenic Ochil Hills in this 33 km point to point race from Glen Devon to Stirling University. Navigate through thirteen checkpoints and 1770 meters of ascent in a true test of mountain running and orientation.

Run the Borders is a trail ultra on the Borders Abbeys Way in the Scottish Borders. Events include a roughly 109 km loop, a 50 km option and a relay for four, with waymarked trails, checkpoints and drop bag support.

Trail running festival at Devilla Forest on 23 Aug 2026 offering half marathon, 10 km, 5 km and a 1.5 km family run. The event uses marked, marshalled forest routes and includes finisher medals and a race memento.
