A LITE division with reduced weights is available to participants alongside standard divisions. Team relay format assigns portions of the runs and Xercises across team members. A hill race in the Pentland Hills on 10 June 2026 with senior and junior routes. The senior course covers about 5.2 km with a 310 m climb and includes steep, heathered summit sections and marshalled tracks.

An evening two-lap race in Linn Park on Glasgow's south side, covering just under 8 km and featuring the park waterfall and historic Halfpenny Bridge. The event is manually timed, supports the Friends of Linn Park, and has limited entry.

A Pretty Muddy 5k obstacle course around Strathclyde Loch at Strathclyde Country Park with mud obstacles to climb, crawl and slide through. Organized by Cancer Research UK, waves run every 15 minutes and a £50 fundraising target applies.
