MacTuffX Livingston September 2026

MacTuffX Livingston is a functional fitness racing event held in Livingston, West Lothian (EH54 5ER) on 6 September 2026. All entrants must be aged 18 years or over on the day of the event. The event is part of the MacTuffX series of UK fitness races and offers solo, doubles and relay entry formats.

Participants complete a sequence of ten Xercises interspersed with running. Two distance formats are offered:

  • 10 x 400 m run (Classic distance)
  • 10 x 800 m run (Double distance)

Entry formats and listed prices for the Livingston event include Solo X at £60 and Solo 2X at £75. Team prices shown include Doubles X at £110 per team, Doubles 2X at £130 per team, Relay X at £130 per team, and Relay XX at £150 per team.

Each Xercise has specified repetitions, distances and weight divisions for men and ladies. Examples of movements and loads shown for the series include Alternating Snatch, Kettlebell Deadlift, Zercher Carry and Slamball movements with defined reps and kettlebell or sandbag weights. A LITE weight division is available as an option for participants who prefer reduced weights. Relay teams are five people, with each team member completing two runs plus Xercises.

A traditional hill race near Flotterstone with a steep 5.2 km senior route, a short junior run, marshalled course and limited facilities.

A hill race on 25 July 2026 as part of the Falkland Gala. The course covers just under 6 miles with over 400 m of ascent across paths, fields and hillside, is well marshalled, and requires mandatory kit and personal hydration.

A fully supported, fully waymarked 100 mile ultramarathon from Edinburgh to Glamis with a 48 hour completion window, professional medical cover and Pit Stops. Part of a three-event trilogy that awards a Trilogy Finisher buckle.

A just under 12 mile point to point run from Hillend ski centre to Musselburgh harbour beach, featuring a climb to Allermuir Hill and mandatory checkpoints across parks, paths and urban sections. Pre entry only, ages 16 plus, limited places..
